The Sonettic Cinema top 10 newest features

The newest project The Sonettic Cinema is on the way! Unfortunately due to some technical issues we had to postpone the release till midsummer. Thank you for understanding.

As for now, you can purchase the new player by sending us an email to support@sonettic.com.

Top 10 newest features:

1. The player supports all Adobe Flash Codecs (FLV, MP4, MOV, HD video, etc.), as well as video progressive download, RTMP AMF0 and AMF3, HTTP Stream, Script Stream (PHP, CFM, etc.). It has RTMP port hawk (If connection is not established, the player will open a host and then a port according to the list).
2. The player has external loading skins (the product includes the source code for the Test skin). The downloaded skin can be revised. It has access to all the events in the player.
3. The player supports external listing downloads ( the default listing is CoverFlow). The basic format of the listing is MRSS (sample xml). The format can be changed any time. The downloaded listing will manage the player.
4. Internal listing has been added. It shows next and previous video from the external loaded list, if the list is downloaded. If the external listing viewer will not be loaded or there is no need in it, then the internal infolisting will work independently. Infolisting supports several styles of displaying information and multi image preview (a few thumbnails for a movie). There will be original files to modify your own listings.
5. The player supports unlimited advertising and in the meanwhile you can stop managing the player.
6. You can manage the player via JavaScript. It has access to internal events in the player and receives the information about the current video.
7. You can manage the player via separate SWF sources flash.net.LocalConnection
8. The player has smart buffering. Video buffering depends on the connection speed now.
9. You can customize the color, style, settings of the player through flash vars or XML file, menu, timeline and size of the video holder. You can add and connect some icons in the menu.
10. You will have the required source code for customizing your player to your needs. You also will have FLA file with the necessary graphics (except some libraries)

Sonettic Сinema new website and new concept

Last month we have worked on new Sonettic Cinema website and we are going to start it at the beginning of April. The main goal of the new concept will have a powerful opportunity to create an excellent representation of any video content. We are also going to represent new listings, widgets, skins and open our player API for possibility of creating new listings and skins.

Last changes of Sonttic Cinema player

Now we work to create new infrastructure of our players, backends and documentation.

For player we made all to create powerful and useful flash component model, use the best OOP practices and programming architecture design patterns. It's simple to create new skins, listings and other features. We support both flash and javascript events from your page to control your video flow.

At this time player work with Flash and Flex as component.

In future we will make more backends to converting, editing and normalizing FLV video. We will create powerful video storages, add CDNs support.
